Dogs can NOT eat soy!

As a dog owner you will never intentionally feed your canine friend with food items that are not meant for your pet dog. If you have been treating your dog with soy, you must stop giving it to your dog. Why? Well here are the reasons why you shouldn’t be supplying soy to your dog.

  • Since soy consists of high contents of toxins it is responsible for obstructing the enzymes that helps in protein digestion.
  • The toxins present in the soy don’t become inactive while you cook or process. Hence, the risk factors remain and there are chances that your pet dog might suffer from troubles in the pancreas.
  • Studies have shown that consumption of soy on regular basis enlarges the pancreas and thyroid of your pet. Therefore, more and more fatty acids get accumulated in the liver of your pet dog.
  • Do you know soy also contains a clot-elevating substance that clumps the red blood cells of your dogs?

According to studies and several researches it has been found that soy contains such traces of elements that are not beneficial for your pet dog. Instead they are harmful for your canine friend’s health.

If your pet dog consumes soy, he/she will suffer from diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems. So don’t you think it is best to be avoided? But yes soy is only beneficial when it is fermented since fermentation kills the toxins and is good for your pet dog’s health.
