Can dogs eat oatmeal?
you may ask yourself can my dog eat oatmeal?
Dogs can eat oatmeal!
Oatmeal is safe for your dogs. It is also a good source of fiber which can help in your dog’s bowel movement. It is also the most common alternative for dogs that have allergies to wheat.
When giving oatmeal to your dog, make sure it is properly cooked first and with no addition of sugar or any flavoring. You can always ask your veterinarian first if it would be fine to let your dog have oatmeal especially if your dog is taking any medications. Oatmeal can enhance or limit the action of some medications and it is best to ask first before giving it to your dogs. Make sure also to visit your vet before making any major changes in your dog’s diet since too much of everything can cause negative effects on your dogs.
Oatmeal also should not be a substitute to your dog’s meal. It can be added as a treat or part of its diet but never replace the diet of your dog with oatmeal. Most dog owners would want their dogs to be healthy and one way of doing that is feeding them nutritious foods. The right nutrition plus a strict health care program makes your dog healthy and even extends its life as much a 20%.

Oatmeal could do as a nice snack, but I would not give too much.
Also make sure the oatmeal is plane, some types may contain ingredients that are a danger to dogs.
