Dogs may have a hard time digesting green peppers and can cause some GI upset. Compared to humans, dogs have a shorter digestive tract which makes their digestion a lot slower. It might be best if you will use a food processor or cut the green peppers into smaller pieces and add it to your dog’s meal. Be careful not to serve it more than the recommended daily servings. Too much green pepper can also have negative effect especially on your dog’s stomach.
