Can dogs eat pumpkin seeds?

you may ask yourself can my dog eat pumpkin seeds?

Dogs can eat pumpkin seeds!

Pumpkin seeds are healthy for your dog, and are actually used as a naturalistic way to de-worm dogs.  (Pumpkin seeds are sometimes ground into a powder, and sprinkled onto a dogs food to kill worms.)

Pumpkin seeds are actually very healthy for dogs as they contain essential fatty acids that help your dog live a healthy life style.

Owners should note that pumpkin seeds are not healthy for dogs to eat an access of, and that the amount of seeds needed to naturally de-worm your dog can cause other stomach related problems.

Like all other foods, rotting pumpkin seeds should not be given to your dog.  Many owners mistakenly give old pumpkin seeds to their dog without realizing that they have gone bad.  Fresh pumpkin seeds have a short shelf life, you should toast your seeds, or properly store them.

Make sure the seeds you give to your dog are unsalted, as salt is very unhealthy for dogs.
