Can dogs eat cherries?

you may ask yourself can my dog eat cherries?

Dogs can eat cherries!

Cherries are ok for dogs to eat as long as you remove the pits before giving them to your dog.

Only feed your dog fresh cherries, never give cherries that have been soaked in sugar, or are pickled or OR HAVE ANY OTHER SEASONING ON THEM.

Do  not give too many cherries to your dog, limit your dog to one (small dogs) to two (larger dogs) or risk your dog having runny poo.

  3. Cherries can help with arthritis in your dogs, so yes you can give them cherries, but make sure they are pitted. I give my dog Traverse Bay Farms cherry powder. I just mix it in thier food and don’t have to worry about any pits.

  5. Dogs will make a mess if you give them cherries. The juice from cherries stains, and dogs will get the juice all over.

    • I bought cherries and was curious if dogs can eat them. As far as I can read, yes they can but you have to take the seeds out, they are poisonous/seminella poisoning if they are eaten. so make sure you take the seeds OUT.
I just tried to give them to my Mastiffs and they will not eat them. They smelled them, I put them in there mouth and they spit them out. LOL
I’ll keep trying to give the to them but I don’t think they will eat them.
One Mastiff will eat anything but he spit it out, the other Mastiff is so finicky in what she eats but she ate it.. Weird.. OF COURSE, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE PITS OUT, THEY ARE POISONOUS TO DOGS…..
