You may ask yourself what is the best dog food for allergies?

The truth is, and that there is no one best dog food for allergies, the food you give your dog will directly depend on your dogs allergies

There are some commercial dog foods that are made for dogs with common allergies, however if your dog has an allergy that is not common, you may have to create your own dog food to match your dogs needs.

The best thing to do is to talk to your vet, and run an allergy test on your dog.  You should take the ingredient list from the dog food you are using so that your vet has a list of possible ingredients that your dog is allergic to.  Once you narrow it down, you can try going to your local pet store to find a dog food brand that does not have the food your dog is allergic to in it.

If this fails, and all the foods you find include this ingredient, or if the food is too expensive, you can always make your own dog food.

Dog food is actually not very hard to make, and you can make great tasting food that your dog is not allergic to in bulk, and store it for later.
